When I think of the concept of imagination, it’s hard not to think first of Spongebob, then of children’s television in general. When I was growing up, there were shows like “Out of the Box” that put the importance of imagination at the forefront (and which gave me unrealistic expectations of making a clubhouse out of boxes). Hi! It’s been a while.
Like the new look? This website has undergone several evolutions since I got it as a Christmas present from my now-husband when we were dating. At first, it was a place to showcase the stories I wrote in college. After that and for a long time, it housed links to my freelance and news articles, graphic design work, and, most recently, my graduate teaching portfolio.
Last year, I made a (private) resolution to use this website more and update my blog every week since I was paying around $100 for the domain name at the end of each year anyways. For 2019, I wanted to refresh the look and feel as well as my intentions for this blog, so I took a little hiatus to figure out what I wanted to do.Read More
