Traveling has always been a big part of my family life. When I was a baby and we lived in upstate New York, my parents said I would go with them on drives up to Vermont and New Hampshire. I don’t know if these were spontaneous drives, but I wouldn’t be surprised. My parents have always been a go-with-the-flow type of people. I wouldn’t say I’m a total opposite, but when it comes to travel, I can be particular about how I spend my time.
I recently went on a trip with my parents to Redding to visit my brother and bring him back from a six-week internship up there. It’s not rare for me to travel with my parents anymore but after a few trips without my husband, I’ve been hesitant to leave him at home by himself (mostly for my own sanity). But, Micah had to work so he wasn’t able to come. It would just be me and my parents and brother for a couple of days.Read More
